In October 2018, Mark Turner Construction completed the replacement of entrance steps at historical Memorial Hall on the campus of VSU. Project consisted of waterproofing existing building, installing new foundation and masonry, and reinstalling granite treads and metal handrails. A new drainage system was installed and tied into existing storm lines, and new landscaping was installed. Project schedule was significantly helped by suggesting an alternate method of providing fresh air to an adjacent interior room that eliminated a long–lead piece of material.
